Bowfishing In Arizonas Beautiful Lakes

Come jump on a one of a kind custom aluminum boat designed for Arizona bow fishing.

If you’ve ever been curious about bow fishing or if you’ve never even heard about it you’ve come to the right place. We’ve personally been bow fishing for fun and competitive the past ten years in Arizona and have learned the ins and outs of finding fish in this state. We like to chase open water buffalo to spawning common carp in the scenic lakes Arizona has to offer.

We are allowed to shoot rough species here in Arizona. Which includes common carp, 3 species of buffalo, gizzard shad, tilapia, and catfish on certain lakes.

Pricing

  • $1000 for the first four shooters ($250 a person)
  • After the first four its $200 a person up to a total of 6.
  • If it’s a group of two the cost is still $1000 for the boat, so the more people you get the cheaper per person the cost is!

Gear Needed

We can and will provide the bows and arrows if needed for no extra cost, if you have your own bowfishing setup by all means bring on the boat and shoot with it. The bows will be setup to shoot with a release or fingers. If you’d like to shoot a release please bring your own personal release to use. Every person on the boat that will be pursuing fish needs a valid Arizona fishing license. If we happen to shoot fish that you would like to take home to eat please plan ahead and bring your own cooler with ice and ziplock bags. It is up to your guides discretion on fish cleaning for you for a nominal fee.

Planning your trip

We usually start hitting the lakes pretty hard in march and go through June most years. Early in the year we might do some daytime shooting but generally most of the shooting will be done at night. Everyone needs a valid fishing license to bow fishing in Arizona.  Depending on the time of year we might try different lakes to chase the spawn and find the big fish. As the year gets warmer and the spawn ends we will go out and just shoot big numbers of fish, don’t be surprised if you can’t draw the bow back by the end of the night. The bows are set up anywhere from 25 pounds to 40 pound draw weights.
